Last updated: June 4, 2026.
Scope
This policy explains how sorenculpin.com handles information submitted through archive access requests, the contact form, cookie consent, analytics, and normal site operation.
The site exists as the official website of author Soren Culpin. It does not sell personal information.
Records Collected
- Email address and consent status when you request archive access.
- Name, email address, subject, and message when you use the contact form.
- Basic technical information processed by hosting and security systems, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps.
- Analytics information only if you allow analytics cookies.
Use
Archive access information is used to send new records, essays, future work, and access links after confirmation. Contact form information is used to read and respond to the message you send.
Analytics, when allowed, is used to understand which pages are read and whether the site is functioning properly. Analytics is not used to build a private dossier on individual readers.
Processors
The site may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, archive access, form handling, analytics, and security. These providers process information only as needed to provide those services.
MailerLite is used for archive access and email records. Google Analytics is loaded only after analytics consent is granted.
Choice
Archive emails include a way to leave the archive or change email preferences. Analytics consent can be changed from Cookie Settings in the footer.
You may also use the contact page to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable.
Retention
Archive records are kept until you leave the archive or request deletion, unless a longer period is required for legitimate operational or legal reasons. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle correspondence and maintain reasonable records.
Contact
Privacy requests should be sent through the contact page. The destination address is configured server-side and is not published on the site.
